Snowbroth is the art alias for Juli Elin.

Born in 1986, I got my BFA  in sculpture  from the University of Florida in 2008, which informed the way I make things now, but I developed most of my art practice after that through experimentation and dabbling in many things from parenting to farming to traveling in my ancestral homeland of Russia, to plant medicine. On the surface my work is about organizing the Chaos and detritus of living. I break materials down, digesting them and combining them into a form that is hopefully unrecognizable from the original source. On a deeper level my work is about spiritual and psychological transferrence. Jungian concepts of binding spirit into the tangible. Snowbroth is my worldview, my constant project. It strengthens my connection to the world. By morphing the things in my environment, it reorganizes into a place I like to live.
